Momenteel is het belangrijkste aanbod van hoog titaniumijzer op de internationale markt w (Ti). 68 Hoogwaardig titaniumijzer van hoge kwaliteit met 72%, w (Al)<4.0%, w (Si)<0.5%, w (N)<0.4%, w (C)<0.1%, w (S)<0.015%, w (P)<0.02%, and w (TO)<1.0% is produced using the titanium chip remelting method. This method is also used domestically to produce high titanium iron, but the cost is high.
In order to reduce steelmaking costs, domestic steel companies have appropriately lowered their requirements when purchasing high titanium iron. The requirements for high titanium iron used in the production of IF steel by W plant are: w (Ti)>65%, w (Al)<4.5%, w (Si)<0.5%, w (TO) 65%, w (Al)<4.0%, w (Si)<0.5%, and w (TO)<5.0%.
